Peanut Butter Overnight Oats
Prepare breakfast the night before with Mamami Overnight Oats, almond milk, chia seeds and peanut butter. Mix the ingredients in a jar, refrigerate overnight and enjoy with optional banana or strawberry toppings.
Ingredients
- ½ cup unsweetened plain almond milk
- ¾ tablespoon Mamami Chia Seeds
- 2 tablespoons natural salted peanut butter or almond butter
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar, adjusted to taste
- ½ cup Mamami Overnight Oats
Optional Toppings
- Sliced banana or strawberries
- Flaxseeds
How to Make Peanut Butter Overnight Oats
- Add the almond milk, chia seeds, peanut butter and cane sugar to a jar or small bowl with a lid. Stir with a spoon to combine. Leave some swirls of peanut butter if you prefer.
- Add the overnight oats and stir again. Press down gently with a spoon so all the oats are moistened and immersed in the almond milk.
- Cover securely and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 6 hours.
- Stir before serving and add your chosen toppings.
Prefer Your Oats Warm?
Transfer the oats to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 45–60 seconds, checking until warmed to your liking. Alternatively, warm them in a saucepan over medium heat. Add a little more liquid if the oats become too thick.
Storage
Keep covered in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2–3 days. For the best texture, enjoy within the first 12–24 hours.
