- 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1¼ cups chocolate chips
How to Make Oat Flour Brownies
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Lightly grease an 8 × 8-inch baking pan.
- Combine the oat flour, baking soda and espresso powder in a bowl. Set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Add the cane sugar and cook for another minute.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the cocoa powder and salt until combined.
- Add the vanilla extract, then whisk in the eggs one at a time until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips. To help keep the chips intact, allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes before adding them.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a thin crust forms on top while the centre remains moist.
- Allow the brownies to cool for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
